Product Owner
I first joined Nexus Alpha in 2014 on a placement year whilst at Uni, starting as a Java Web Developer. Over the years, I built on my development knowledge and then transitioned into the role of Product owner, which I do today. I am the Product Owner for the ARRAKIS Portal – which is used Nationwide by the rail industry. My job is to deliver a product that our clients love to use and makes their day-to-day lives at work easier.
My life outside of work mainly revolves around social activities and keeping active. About a year ago I took up badminton and I now play every week. I also enjoy my morning yoga sessions and walks along the River Thames. Travelling is another passion of mine, although it has slowed down a bit recently.
Before studying Information Systems, I studied Dance, and took part in a performance
of Giselle with the English Youth Ballet.
Product Owner
I’ve been with Nexus Alpha for over 15 years. I joined as a software developer and worked on numerous software development projects. Gradually, I have transitioned to the business where I work as the Product Owner for the ARRAKIS App. My role is to work closely with the clients to identify the product requirements for the development team and to ensure that the developed product is aligned with the product roadmap.
I love travelling. I have visited over 75 countries and I’m far for being done.
Not many people know that I was a state-level roller skating champion.
