My Role at Nexus Alpha

I lead a team of developers, mostly specialising the micro-services that do the backend work to power the Arrakis ecosystem. I offer technical consultation, coding, and mentoring of less senior software developers.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work

I am a father to two young boys and they keep me very busy when outside of work (and sometimes inside of work). If I get spare time I enjoy cycling, running or walking. I am a big football fan, too old to play now, but enjoying watching.

My fun fact

Many of the people who built the technology we use every day and love started out by playing games. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, the co-founders of Apple, were teenagers when their coding careers took off with the creation of the game Breakout.
