Green Park Station Information, GREEN PARK STATION: Until Friday 12 December, before 0600 Mondays to Saturdays, and 0730 Sundays, the Piccadilly line platforms will be closed due to escalator replacement works.

Canada Water Station Information, CANADA WATER STATION: Reduced escalator service until mid November.

Covent Garden Station Information, COVENT GARDEN STATION: Until May 2009, major station refurbishment works will be taking place. The station will remain fully open until Saturday 12 July, but between Sunday 13 July and Thursday 27 November, and again from Monday 19 January until May 2009, the station will open at 0800 on Sundays to Thursdays, and will close at 2330 on Sundays to Wednesdays. At these times, customers are advised to use Leicester Square, Holborn or Charing Cross stations instead.

Heathrow Terminal 5 Station Information, HEATHROW TERMINAL 5 STATION: Travelcards and Freedom Passes are not accepted on Heathrow Express services to or from this station. Journeys between Terminal 5 and Terminals 1, 2 and 3, only, are free of charge.

Outside work, I have a strong interest in Quality within organisations, enjoy most sports and spending time with my family.

Nexus Alpha has been providing display systems to the transport sector for over a decade during which time the company’s unique approach to the design of such hardware has created systems that are both reliable and long lived in the harshest of environments.

Nexus Alpha’s expertise lies in the unusual combination of skills within the company: class leading software allied with innovative hardware.

Our systems have been in operation for over a decade and most of those installed are still in use today – a testament to the design and construction quality.

Beginning with CRT displays in GRP cases, which were unusual for the inclusion of full environmental management, Nexus Alpha has continued development over the years with the addition of natural speech audio that is capable of rendering not just timetable data, but an extensive range of disruption messages sourced from Tyrell systems.

Since then we have deployed the very tough all stainless LCD1 systems, built around ultra high bright LCD displays – the brightest and clearest available. Latterly some of these units have been upgraded with REACT compliant speech systems whilst elsewhere they have been migrated from timetable data sources to Real Time data feeds.

Now we are developing an entire new range: our new systems are the result of considerable investment, designed to continue the best traditions of our previous models whilst making a substantial leap forward in technology, flexibility and capability. Our new systems are re-designed from scratch to meet the expectations of clients who now demand exceptional functionality and reliable performance (with easy access to system performance data) even under extreme duress - and all at a sustainable cost.

And with the increased interest in renewable power, Nexus Alpha systems are going to be delivering ultra-low power solutions to give always available, always visible, Real Time information.
