Robert O'Brien

Senior Software Engineer

I joined Nexus Alpha in 1998, developing the database and templates for the first generation of Tyrell systems. Since then I have worked on every incarnation of Tyrell, as well as a few other projects! Since 2003 I have been using C# .NET as well as maintaining and adding new features to some of the older code. In early 2006 I started working on ideas for new templates in the latest version of Tyrell. The most recent project has been the creation of a User Interface and SQL Server database for entering and holding geographical data about the rail network.

Outside work I spend a lot of time coaching and playing cricket for The Mote. I also enjoy a round of golf most weeks and play tennis when I get the chance. Other interests include listening to music and playing the piano.
