Heathrow Terminal 5 Station Information, HEATHROW TERMINAL 5 STATION: Travelcards and Freedom Passes are not accepted on Heathrow Express services to or from this station. Journeys between Terminal 5 and Terminals 1, 2 and 3, only, are free of charge.

Covent Garden Station Closed, COVENT GARDEN STATION: From Sunday 13 July until further notice. The station is closed until 0800 Sundays to Thursdays and from 2330 Sundays to Wednesday. Please use Leicester Square, Holborn or Charing Cross which are in walking distance.

Over the past five and a half years at NAL, I have also done work on the IDU systems, Service Provider and various bespoke projects for LUL, Network Rail, to name a few. After leaving university, I started work in Ashford programming at a CAD package company. The package was used to design Kitchens and Bathrooms. Outside of work I don't really have a lot of spare time. I have spent one and a half years doing up a house so far! I am learning a lot of new skills like plumbing, brick laying, plastering, electrical work, carpentry, etc. Bit of a change from programming!

The user is initially presented with a route filter on the left and a summary of all the updates on the right.

route If the user wants to filter the updates by a particular route he enters the from and to stations and presses Go. He will then be presented with diagram of the route with the stations on either end and the disruptions and boards in between. If the TOC connects to the underground network, underground updates will be connected to either of the station nodes.

The route diagram can contain the following updates depending on how JourneyCheck is configured for the TOC:

General Updates – updates that are neither line or service updates, e.g. an update about a station or something that affects the whole of the TOC’s network.
Line Updates – an update about a part of the rail network
Service Updates – an update about a particular service
Departure & Arrival Boards
Underground Updates

A period for engineering works can be specified – today, next 7 days, next 30 days or all.

Service Updates

You can show calling stations for service updates including scheduled and expected times and whether it’s not stopping at certain stations.

Boards

The boards are sourced from RTTI which is the same information presented on national rail’s website. The boards show scheduled and expected times and also platform numbers if available for that station.

The calling stations for each service can be displayed. Your selected from and to stations will be highlighted.

Saved Routes

A number of routes can be saved on your computer so you can go back to them quickly. You can also set a default route so that when you open JourneyCheck it will initially display the default route.

Alert Me

When you have a route displayed you can also press the “Alert Me” button and it will setup an alert for that route.
