We are pleased to confirm that a new version of JourneyCheck was deployed on Wednesday 03/07/08.
New features include:
Reworked station departure boards
- More details about splitting & joining trains
- Improved calling patterns showing which timings are actual, and which are
predicted
- Arrival and departure times are now shown for the station of interest
- Detailed description of “rounder” services
- An option to sort the departure boards by expected time of arrival at the
destination – this means that your customers can easily see the fastest service
to catch, allowing for:
- Circular route services going the ‘long way round’.
- Trains that overtake services that depart earlier, both scheduled, and
allowing any actual or predicted delays.
- Inclusion of JourneyCheck Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- Including of JourneyCheck Alerts Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- Enhancements to the JourneyCheck Alerts login page with more information for
users
- Addition of an “About JourneyCheck Alerts” page
- Improved performance for WAP and PDA pages including screens specifically
designed for different mobile devices
- Other minor user interface enhancements to the overall look of the pages
